Dr. Alex Rosales
Medical Director
Dr. Alex Rosales is a Poway native who has always wanted to help animals from a young age. Dr. Rosales received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2012.
She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 2018. After graduating, she moved back to San Diego to work in a small animal private practice. Her special interest includes soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and dentistry. Dr. Rosales takes pride in building strong bonds with her patients and educating clients on preventative medicine.
When not at the hospital, Dr. Rosales likes playing softball, hiking, and spending time with her 2 kids and husband enjoying all that San Diego has to offer. She has 2 cats named Chili and Pepper.
